Bridport residences robbed

— The Vermont State Police in New Haven are investigating two daytime burglaries at the residences located along Route 125 in Bridport.

The first burglary occurred at the residence of Isaac Larocque, 24, located on Route 125 in Bridport. This burglary took place Nov. 15 sometime between 6:30 a.m. and 12:20 p.m., according to Larocque. A list of missing items was not released by police.

The second burglary occurred at the residence of Merry Duclos, 64, located on Route 125 in Bridport.

Someone forced entry at Duclos' residence through a rear door gaining access to the residence. A separate window was also broken where those involved unsuccessfully attempted to make entry. Approximately $1,000 in jewelry was stolen from the home. The estimated damage to the residence (door and window) is approximately $500.
