— Killington’s twenty sixth annual Toys for Tots Holiday Party will be held Saturday, Dec. 8, 5-8 p.m., at the Foundry at Summit Pond in Killington. Guests are asked to bring an unwrapped toy as a donation.

In addition to the toy drive, the event will feature a raffle with all proceeds going to charity. This year two additional organizations will benefit from funds raised: The Rutland Area Rutland Area Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice, and the Killington-Pico Rotary.

Raffle items include local restaurant gift certificates, lodging packages, ski and snowboard gear and apparel, Killington golf and ski packages and more. Guests will receive one raffle ticket in exchange for each toy donation, and additional raffle tickets may be purchased at the door.

Ted Arbo’s Toys for Tots Holiday Party has been a celebrated tradition in Killington since 1986.

Throughout that time, over $100,000 in toys and donations have been raised, supporting many local agencies and causes including Rutland County Women’s Network and Shelter, The Open Door Mission and The Dodge House.

Formerly the site of the Grist Mill Restaurant, the Foundry at Summit Pond is located on the Killington Road.
