Clarendon On Nov. 19, Vermont State Police troopers were dispatched to a residence located at Route 133 in Clarendon for a reported suspicious complaint.
Troopers learned Tristan Taylor, 29, had active pre-trial conditions of release prohibiting him from consuming any alcoholic beverages. Taylor exhibited indicators of alcohol consumption, in violation of his court ordered conditions.
While troopers attempted to take Taylor into custody, his girlfriend Faith Shorey, 34, attempted to intervene.
Shorey assaulted one of the troopers during the incident.
After Shorey was taken into custody and placed into a trooper’s vehicle she freed one of her wrists from hand restraints, and attempted to run from police.
