— Stories about libraries, along with stories from a departing local public library director, will be the focus of the next gathering of StoryMatters in Middlebury.

One of the co-founders of StoryMatters, David Clark, will retire next month as long-time director of Ilsley Public Library; he will share some of the tales he has encountered that were not within the covers of a book. The event is an opportunity to also say farewell to the respected director.

If you have a story about the library, a tall tale or a short tale, join the library staff Tuesday, Feb. 26, from 7-8 p.m. in the community meeting room of Ilsley Public Library.

For further information contact Len Rowell lar17g@myfairpoint.net or the library at 802-388-4095.
