— The Castleton State College men's ski team placed third in the Eastern Collegiate Ski Conference MacConnell Division and had four skiers earn All-Division honors as announced by the conference Feb. 20.

Sophomore Patrick Burke led the Spartans with a seventh-place finish over the course of the ECSC MacConnell Division race season to earn all-division honors for the second straight year. Brother Robert was right behind him in eighth while senior Connor O'Brien took 11th and Ben Hannah placed 13th. All three were all-division selections one year ago as well.

The four skiers was tied for the most among the men, as MacConnell Division winner Clarkson also had a quartet of skiers earn honors. Carter Dowd of Babson was named the ECSC MacConnell Division Skier of the Year after accumulating nine top-ten finishes over the course of the season.

Castleton returns to the slopes this weekend when they take part in the USCSA Eastern Regional Championships at Mt. Abram in Greenwood, Maine.
