West Rutland — West Rutland School’s fifth and sixth grade boys basketball team celebrated its first place trophy at the Bob Ward Tournament held in Proctor recently.
West Rutland defeated Proctor, 39 to 34, in an exciting game that went into overtime.
Despite their loss, the Proctor boys displayed sportsmanship and were thrilled to accept the tournament’s second-place trophy.
