MODEL RAILROAD — Crosby's Coal was located in Danby on the Rutland Railroad. Built in 1914, the historic building still stands today. Hopper loads of coal would be unloaded into the coal bins from which the coal would be sold to local homes and businesses. Now model railroaders can construct an HO-scale version of the structure along their mini tracks, pictured here. A kit includes pre-cut wood parts with a resin foundation, decal signs, and more. Available from Branchline-trains.com just in time for Christmas shopping.
